Inspark is a mobile app designed to enhance the kick-off experience for university students in Sweden. With its intuitive schedule, real-time updates, and event tracking features, Inspark makes it easy to stay organized and fully enjoy your kick-off activities. Completed in the university course "Prototyping for mobile applications".
The Inspark app was developed to streamline and enhance the kick-off period for university students in Sweden. This critical time, often filled with numerous events, activities, and important updates, can be challenging to manage. Inspark aims to simplify this process by providing an easy-to-use platform that keeps students organized and informed throughout the kick-off period.
The app features an intuitive schedule layout, allowing users to view all upcoming events at a glance. Additionally, Inspark delivers real-time notifications and updates, ensuring students never miss key information or changes in event details. Designed with the user experience in mind, the app helps students navigate the busy start of university life effortlessly, making it easier to focus on building connections and enjoying their university introduction.
The project was carried out by a team of five students from the Interaction and Design program. We divided the work into two focused teams: two of us handled the design aspects, while the remaining three focused on implementing the app using React Native. I was part of the design team.
As the Design Expert, my main responsibility was to develop the visual and interactive components of the application. Using Figma, I crafted a user-friendly interface that not only met functional requirements but also elevated the overall user experience. My contributions included creating wireframes, prototypes, a custom logo, and the final design assets, all of which played a critical role in guiding the development process and ensuring a cohesive, engaging application.
