Comers sells an online booking system to a wide range of customer businesses. I redesigned the entire customer-facing booking experience — the platform their businesses use to sell everything from camping spots to package deals and activities.
Comers' booking system is used by many different customer businesses to sell bookings online — everything from hotel rooms and campsites to activities, package deals, flights, and ski packages. I was fully responsible for how the entire customer-facing booking experience looked and worked, redesigning it from the ground up while a developer implemented the design alongside me.
Unlike a booking system built for one type of product, this one had to work equally well for a hotel stay, a ski package, a flight, or a map-based activity booking — each with its own logic and steps — while still feeling like one coherent system across every customer business that uses it. On top of that, the project wasn't a single fixed scope: new booking types and features kept getting added over time, so the design had to stay flexible enough to absorb that without turning into a patchwork of one-off screens.
Rather than a single research-to-launch cycle, this project evolved over roughly four months as new booking types were added one by one — activities, hotels, camping, package deals, flights, map-based booking, and ski packages. Each addition meant revisiting the existing design language and deciding what could be reused and what needed its own flow.
I worked in Figma to design and prototype each booking flow, keeping a consistent visual system across all of them so that switching from booking a campsite to booking a flight still felt like the same product. I worked closely with a developer throughout, translating designs into a real, working system and adjusting based on what did and didn't hold up once built.
Beyond the booking flow itself, I also redesigned Comers' website builder — the tool customer businesses use if they want their entire website built on Comers, rather than just embedding the booking system as an iframe into a site built elsewhere. This meant designing full webpages that look cohesive and professional end-to-end, not just a booking widget bolted onto an external site.
A single, consistent booking experience that Comers can now offer across a wide range of customer businesses and booking types, built to keep expanding as new use cases come in rather than needing a redesign each time.
